What about those who don't own Skoda's and come on here and slate them at every opportunity, or anything else VAG related come to mention it ??????

I don't mind non Skoda owners attending meets as long as they're in a separate field or 50 paces behind.

So long as the fields have cattle grids :P:rofl:

Chris

I've read the thread that started this, thanks Chris.

I must say I find it a bit discriminatory ;)

I cannot understand some people on here. When you own a Skoda it's fine, or even a VAG it's fine, the minute you go out of that market for a better brand, moods change.

I couldn't care less really, I loved my Skoda, and still praise about them, occassionally make a helpful post :P, and have paid for my membership, which is more than what some Skoda owners on here have done, not paying isn't a bad thing either.

I've noticed two people on here recently, who have a problem with non-Skoda owners, but unfortunately every car forum has got members from different car backgrounds.

I'm a Skoda enthusiast, not an owner.

Don't like it? Tough!

Before I bought my first skoda I became a member of this forum to see what the recurring issues were likely to be ....

I have always thought of this site as a warm and welcoming one

I say welcome one and all share your views you may be able to offer some advice from your particular area of expetise .. mechanic (sorry technician) etc

As a non Skoda owner I'm here becauese of the quality of the forum and the fact that hopefully I've picked up the odd tip in my 2 years of Skoda ownership & modding that I can pass on.

There are 3 in the family & I'd have another if they made one that met my needs too

That said, Skodas are crap and their owners smell of poo

their owners smell of poo

I thought smart owners were into that sort of thing anyway...;)

I think we should arrange a meet where we hunt and pilage all the non skoda owners that attend. Bit like the New Forest Treasue hunt, only without cars and with more pick axes.

If you are one of the non-skoda owners that is also a freedom member you get and extra 20 seconds head start before stuff gets chucked at you.

If you are a skoda owning freedom member then you are intitled to an extra spear.

I notice none of the non-Skoda non-Freedom members got stuck though and needed assistance ;)

There was only one non Skoda owner taking part in it.

Well i better throw a few spears just in case i do decide to defect.

I've voted for option 1...... I have no problem at all with ex owners staying on the forum.

I am still a member on uk-polos.net even though i sold the polo over a year ago..... Ok i don't post on there very often but i still feel welcome.

I'd like to think i am able to ask a question on here, (Which i do quite often!!!), and know that it could be answered by someone whether they are a current owner or past owner.

Anyway that's my 2p's worth.

Cheers

Dave.
