Colour doesn't look bad but prefer the silver look against your car personally or even sahara beige as you'd mentioned before but its your car so your call

do think they look suprisingly small for 18's though but should look better with your spacers on as the look quite skinny at the moment

Sorry but I think I prefer the Silver, the shiny/black looks more like they should be on a Ricer. BUT I prefer the lower look of the car itself.

If I hadnt seen the Silver first my view might have been differet, Im wondering if its also too much Black against the Beige.

Black against beige always reminds me of cars with the wheel trims missing

Still a pretty looking car though

I don't like it.

But I think it'll look awesome when spaced out.

Not really liking the look at the moment, sorry :o

They manage to look pretty small, which could be an effect of the black finish. Might be better with the spacers though. Could well be the stance causing the issue TBH.

Cant knock it, You have 2 great looks from just changing the boots.

Mr Baker, have you got some black wheels for sale soon.

Silver looks best.

No Not For Me

I don't think anyone will be getting a chance to own your 19's any time soon! Sorry buddy, but not liking it at all.

Like they say, each to their own, but I'd wager that once you find new boots for your 19's, there will be a set of black 18's on Flea Bay.

:P

10 out of 10 for effort, but probably more error than trial!

Still the leader of the pack as far of Superbs go though!

Doesn't look too bad, trouble was though the other wheels seemed to suit the car so well it is going to be difficult to get a better look with different wheels.

Sorry prefer the silver but the black might of worked better if they were 19s. Am looking at buying some new wheels for my we beast and will be looking for some silver ones similar to your 19s

Carolyn

Those wheels would look amazing on my black Super B, need to get myself some!

I'm afraid, I'm going to say the Silver 19's looked better..just my opinion though

Yep - don't think the black wheels suit it really.

Those tyres look downright dangerous. I wouldn't go round any corners too quickly!

You were definitely right about it being a marmite mod... seems to have split the site down the middle!

I'm reserving judgement till I've seen it with spacers...

Silver one's for me too!

I think that its a big difference from silver to black on any car and some car's pull them off better than others....

Never seen any different rims on your Octy but I like the black on black look, with mine I think that if the silver's had never been on there then the black would be excepted?

They do however look small as you have stated....spacers will be on the way soon....

What's a 'Ricer' mate......unsure of what that is or means? Or am I being dumb?

I much prefer the lower look of the car, it's the ideal ride height for me but I can't get it to go down any lower on the 19's so this is a compromise at the minute.

I don't think it's too much black but I think the silver's will stick in people's mind but these wheels were never meant to be long term....

Thanks for the comment mate...

Thanks mate.....I agree with you on that point.....they are two completely different looks.....my girlfirend prefer's the black rims but I think that's more because she is scared of kerbing the silver 19's.....LOL!!!

LOL........I agree with you mate.....I think that these will either be up for sale or I will keep them and use them over the winter months as skinnier wheels are always better in the wet and snow....LOL!!

Thanks for your comment mate....

I would suggest that if you aren't going to lower the car 19's will not be a good mod but if you are then go for it.......large wheels without being lowered can look like a tractor IMHO but I look forward to seeing your choice....

Swoxy / delcac / Wardy / mattclaxton / apd007 / chri 1d / Gismo86 - Cheers for your posts guys, I will sort the spacers out soon and maybe that will make a difference......going from 8J to 9.5J is a big difference and I think this highlights the point pretty well......I guess that the 19's were a hard wheel to better.....LOL!!!

Maybe you could buy these if you were interested?!?!?!?

The tyres certainly aren't dangerous and are pumped to the correct pressure.....having a stretch with a low profile just makes it look like a very small rubber band......

I always thought a "Ricer" referred to a modified car from the Far East (Japan usually), but according to Wikipedia it's

"Ricer is also a derogatory term for a person who tunes their car in a flashy and pointless fashion"

So I guess there are plenty of "Ricers" that aren't from the Far East too!
