Already got the 143 PS Diesel motor, we hear 200 BHP Turbo on the way....Skoda, you missed the boat!

Mike

7 years warranty as well, good going.

That's a nice car, no two ways about it. And if they as reliable as previous Kias then they've got a winner on their hands. If only folk can get over they're badge snobbery!:D

Looks good - write-ups for these and the Hyundai i30s are excellent, and with the brill warranties they really do deserve a good looking at.

Anyone know what the OTR is off the top of their head?

its an astra

Wears the shape better than the Astra H.

Aye, there's a touch of astra there mixed with stilo abarth, I like the look of it!

hmmm not too bad looking BUT its still a Kia!!

yes.... i am a badge snob.

I'm seeing Focus, Astra, Corsa and prev shape Civic in there!

And quite a bit of SEAT Leon

kia or hyundai will be my next car.the 5-7 years warrenty is amazing !!!

Any other cars it looks like

It's a car, it should shift well, might not be a bad one at all ;)

Yet another valuable thread Mike, I really don't know how you do it! :thumbdwn:

and what exactly is wron with this thread steve? in what way does it not meat your expectations?

Have a look at Carjacked's post history and you'll get the picture!

If you don't like them, then don't read them - simple as! Or if you do have to complain on every thread he writes, at least vary your comments :P

Chris

It seems to me that Kia and Hyundai are about in the position that Skoda were five years back.

Now making decent cars - possibly not quite as good as some of the competition - but pricing them very well and offering good support to their owners to overcome prejudice.

Hmm maybe a test drive is in order then :)

Looks a bit good actually and if they do drop a 200hp TD engine in i'd concider one!

Hmmm, not the most intelligent response you've ever made, but you cant always be right I suppose ;)

I had the older Kia Rio & my brother & dad both have the new one. Although a nice car I found that the build quality wasn't as good as my new skoda & after 30K there where more nosies on it than my old ford that had done 100K. Also the warrinty is 7years or 100K which ever is sooner.

Don't get me wrong I think for certain things & people the kia's are great, however there is a reason they are cheaper.

who the f*ck is this guy?!

I'm sorry,

I don't particularly like this blokes threads in general either, nor his wording of some of them, but I do believe this is a perfectly valid thread.

I'll be putting it on my list of test drives.

The only thing I can see is that it should be in general car chat, not in the fabia 2007 section.
