BBC Top Gear is back next weekend 07/10.

Featured Replies

the latest edition of the magazine (mine came today) has a preview of some of the things they'll be doing

like re-creating their amphibious cars for a "bigger" challenge

the "race crash" that Hammond had was in a car powered by the petrol that they grew

the light supercars are the 3 from a couple of issues back - a 911 (RS? GT2? 3?), a Lambo somethin Supperlegga and the Aston Martin N24 race car.

the race versus the jet fighter

a whole episode will be dictated to their challenge to buy a car for 1000 and drive it across botswana, which is what all the environmentalists were up in arms about a while back.

Mine came yesterday but it's had the **** kicked out of it and it's soaking wet so more or less unreadable :(:thumbdwn::mad:

Thanks Royal Mail.........

Yeah I know :) , dont expect any response from me on msn for the next hour or so (Louis Theroux is on at 9pm too!) :D

Afraid it'll have to be the repeat, Scotland v Argentina's on at the same time!

2 minutes to go :huep: :huep: :huep: :huep:

oh carp missed it :(

That GT3 RS is to die for, awesome colour.

The Lambo for me, did I see a glimpse of a Roomster at the start???

Great show, back on top form.

Lambo was porn, as was the GT3 RS.....

Stelvio Pass anyone? Might lose something in a Skoda......

Saw one at Goodwood this morning - same colour. What would you choose though?

Noticed the W12 had an MFD3

GT3 RS for me too, although I'll take it in yellow or blue :D

Chris

Dammit I missed it:mad:. Anyone know when it'll be repeated??

James May in the Aston had me in stitches.:rofl:

For shear entertainment value, Top Gear is unbeatable.

Shame about the appalling hairstyles though.:eek:

Previous series OK-ish - if this 1st episode is anything to go by :thumbdwn:

Just watching it on Sky + now. Stelvio Pass was where Stuart J and the FB5K guys went a couple of weeks ago.

We were supposed to go but had to pull out when we had the wheel bearing problem.

Val's finally lost it!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed it. Great cars, great roads, great fun.

Not the greatest episode , but good to have it back.

Oh , and 5th gear has actually been half decent of late as well.

Val's finally lost it!!!!!!!

Yeah, t'was in the post :P

Yeah, t'was in the post :P

Genius

The Golf W12 had an MFD2 DVD unit with a gloss black surround on it. It had the row of buttons along the bottom and both sides.

Though it was an MFD3 initially, good old Sky+ :P

Yeah I only got a quick glance and thought it was an MFD3

Genius

:orb_blow_

TBH they should have given it a rest.

It's getting kind of dull. All I want is a proper car review show, rather than an hour of "I wonder what...." and sideways action in a supercar I'm unlikely to see in person, let alone care if it has a poor interior.

I'll stick to 5th gear thanks. VBH - yum yum.

ho
