This may seem like a stupid question to the more "enlightened" of you.

But I am looking to insure a second car , and wondered if there are any companies who will give some sort of discount on second car insurance policies . I have claims protected policy (with one prang by Son who WAS on my policy at the time ...2005). So I have actually MYSELF had no accidents for over ten years.

But I had a online quote from various companies, who, if I did not have any NCB want silly money, I know you can only use your NCB on the one car , but I Wonder if any companies do offer a discount (I am 50yrs with only 3 points ).

Phone your existing insurer and ask if they do a dual car policy. You cant use a NCB on more than one policy but many companies (Direct Line, Admiral, Tesco) will give a discount equivilent to your NCB against the second car policy.
