Des asked to see the graph in another thread but I thought it would be better to start a new one so here it is:

Thanks Eddy, that's special.

You didn't fancy turning it up then as it was on the rollers anyway. Obviously for research purposes only.

375 at all 4 wheels as well?

Something along the lines of a rebore, forged "everything", MOFO of a turbo, and plenty more complimentary goodies. Then a bit of remapping I should imagine.

plus deep pockets and a understanding partner too??? ;)

what about the 4x4 system? or are they inherently strong?

Eddy will have to supply details of the gearbox/drivetrain, but to my knowledge it's a 6 speed (perhaps modded with LSD), and no mods were needed to the rear diff.

Gearbox is a 6spd one from a TT fitted with an uprated clutch. Front and rear diff are standard apart from the addition of an uprated haldex controller which engages the rear wheels more agressively but doesn't add any strength.

mmmmm bet you have to wear one of these when you drive it :airjock:

wow they certainly build stuff properly over in the vag group!

im use to older vx's where if you even think about putting more power through the old 4x4 you end up with bits of transfer box all over the floor! lol!

thats because the cav/calibra had a well designed but poorly made 4x4 system.

yup your not wrong!!

thats why a friend of mine is building a RWD turbo vectra. he was going 4wd but it wouldnt cope with the power he was planning

HOW FERKIN MUCH!!!!!!!

Well done Eddy, must be a real great drive, and a bit of a "Q" car to.

Didn't see the point, I like it how it is and it only went on the RR as JBS specifically asked me to run it for the promotion day. I'm pleased with the figures though.

She's just got a hybrid turbo on her A3. :)

I use the car everyday, around 50 miles a day, the conversion has been completed for over a year now and the drivetrain seems to be coping well.

Do you have any pics of the car, engine bay etc Eddy?
