Diesel DSG Estate 4x4....hello, looks promising. Shame the DSG is only on the oily, adds weight to the disel path VAG are taking...

Rob, it would be but at as of a few weeks ago they have been unable to do a successful remap on these engines. The ecu uses extra security settings and once the map is found by the software the ecu is permanently disabled, result the customer HAS to buy a new ecu. There are aparently ways around this but the cost the hardware means until it becomes viable they wont be able to do the map.

The pictures of a silver one don't do it credit...would be better to see one in Yellow or Red. Like the low level rear "brake lights or fogs" whatever they are.

Personaly I dont think the picture is of a future Octavia RS, as previously posted if you look at the Skoda Auto page on the new Octavia its just the accessory pack added to a standard model. Hope there is some truth in what the mag is saying re an RS model however.

The pictures look a bit too restraines to be vRS pictures. Me thinks they could be aftermarket dealer accessories.

It's missing a certain important badge.
