my first post on the site.

I'm looking to purchase either a Octavia 2.0 TDI Elegance, or a 2.0 TFSI VRS and thought I'd do a bit of homework before finally taking the plunge!

I've driven both a 2.0 petrol, 2.0 TDI and a 2.0 VRS over the past few days and I have to say WOW. All 3 cars have driven great - although I have to say the VRS is absolutley fantastic!

My only disaapointment is the low spec of the VRS compared to the Elegance.

I know it's a different beast altogether, but for the price I would have expected at least an equal spec. I'm ignoring the special offer running at the moment as I think that's the spec that should be on the car to begin with anyway.

I am leaning towards the VRS despite it's lower spec, but just wondered if anyone had any comments on this, or suggestions on how to upgrade the standard VRS model once purchased.
