What a cracking game. Definitely a step up from COD 3 which I wouldn't have thought possible.

I know what I will be doing for the next few months/years.

Yes ,it rocks. Online is a bit manic at the moment though.

Our COD2 server will be switching over to COD4 very soon.

My Xfire is mooserich, though I can't get COD4 working through Xfire just yet.

Just been playing online it's effin nuts

Started the single player game on the PC at 7pm Saturday night, finished the single player game at 11pm with a break ..... brilliant game, but NOT overly long

The AC130 (spectre) mission is bloody good fun though, I keep going back and having another play at it. Multiplayer is pretty cool on PC, but the maps are a little small and a bit chaotic with to many players online, the leveling up system is pretty good though

gives the Nvidia's chance to shine

I must admit the single player game is a little short. I will probably go back and try it on a harder setting.

The online multiplayer experience is awesome though. Provided there are new maps in the pipeline to stop you getting bored then it is definitely a winner.

We got COD4 for our boy on Saturday, I watched him for hours, it was awesome. He played for a couple of hours live with his mates, then onto campaign legendary. It looked bloody difficult but the weapons are mad, especially the javelin and the AC 130 bit is awesome! The last time I looked he was at the end of act2.:eek: Its just a pity you can't do the campaign co-op like GOW.:thumbdwn:

Finished the single player before the game was even released Like said before not very long, but enjoyable.

I did enjoy the "death from above" mission, looked remarkably like the footage you see on video sites and also the sniper and stealth missions.

According to the IW forums the first MP patch is in the post. Hopefully sort all the online problems and shortfalls. Although with them having done it 3 times already you would think they would get it right off the bat.

Weapons are fairly realistic in their performance though, a much more enjoyable experience than MOHAB.

Agreed. In fact ATM i am playing on quiet servers. ( if i can get on - feckin connection timeouts is driving me crazy )

Just did the AC-130 bit - it's superb!

I do like the the ac 130 bit

the story mode is quite impressive did'nt think much of it at first but it's growing on me.

What a game....finally something has stopped me playing cs:s. My xfire is schrickvr6 and ingame is n000bZ1LL4 if anyone fancies a blast later on.

that sniper bit with the SAS is difficult :(
