Beretta -

its being done at a recomended body shop (they deal with alot of repairs by the looks of it and do things privatly and through insurance) they seem to know what there doing, they said if the dent was unable to be pulled out they will replace the wing, hes been an honest guy about it from the beginning - not many people (well from what i've seen) around coventry would be even honest enough to put their number on my windscreen. so i've given the guy the benifit of the doubt.

if the body shop repair it bady i can refuse it and make then do it again surely. but i doubt it will be a bad job. they didnt seem like a dodgy repair shop.

he hasnt been a kn0b about it, so why sould i make things worse? i know where the guy lives and where he works now anyway!

but i do understand there is the risk of him not paying up but i dont think he wont.

The bumper isn't on straight , and it seems to be missing a few bits.

SOTBO, statement of the bleeding obvious :P

I could see it was missing some bits, but I cant see that it isnt straight, perhaps Im looking in the wrong place lol

Panel gap at the left hand side of the bumper on the first pic...

That's gonna look great when you've got all the missing bits on there.

Wheels and suspension drop next?

Its a shame i have only just found this thread. I used to own a seat ibiza Fr. I had my car go to Listers body shop once and what a bunch of rude, incompetent cow boys. I had to get my boot resprayed under warranty as there was a paint defect where the paint had reacted with the zinc coating or something like that. Anyways, i got my car back and they had blasted a chunk of paint off my bump strips and then claimed that it was already like it. I rang the manager up at the body shop and he wouldnt even talk to me [:@]

Anyways, i wrote the ibiza off this year on the m6 and now have a seat arosa sport. Its recently been into a garrage called "Autohaus" which is in Hollbrooks i think, just behind the Honda motorbike shop near united footwear. It cost me £600 but they supplied a new bonnet as the one i had was no good, and also needed a new crash bar too. Anyways they sprayed the bonnet, wings, blended it into the doors and bumper.

Here are some pics below.

Sorry it turned out as we said it would, now just make sure that you put everything in writing to them, so there is no confusion if they get it wrong again.

Also make sure you get a written warranty against paint defects/fading etc, dont accept word of mouth.
