Le Car Centre if I'm allowed to say that? He knows his stuff and was very helpful.

Just have to sort out the insurance and stuff now

IIRC that's the same place as Graeme got his from :D

Sounds like you got a good deal on it, welcome to the smoggy side :D

:D haven't been this excited about getting a car for ages!!

I wil know today if I will get it for the weekend as it's in transport from the "docks" to the dealership. Fingers crossed

No doubt at some stage I will tinker with it :P

Paul is very clued up and is willing to help get you what you want. He pulled out all the stops to get me mine and that was the only Yellow equiped with Xenons coming into the country last year! ;)

Glad you have managed to get what you were after too. Tell him Graeme says hi next time you see him.

Well I picked up my vRS last saturday and since then I've covered 900 miles in it. Only just posted on here now as I've been away for a week!!

What can I say but this, going from the peugeot it's like sitting in a rolls royce!! It cruises the motorway with very little sound in fact with the windows down it's about the same as the peugeot was with it's windows dine up.

I haven't really got anything to say that is bad about it really........it's pick up is great and it handles very well, better than the 03/53 plated cars that I test drove. (have skoda made some changes?)

Just two quick things for other vRS owners. Firstly does the gear knob viabrate abit in neutral? (dies it make a buzzing kinda of sound?). Secondly how much do you vRS smoke on start up and if you put your foot down? (I haven't yet taken it above 3.5k revs).

Also the other half loves it..............she keeps asking if I want to go for a drive lol...............cant be bad!!!

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: to the Fabia vRS!!!

Mike

Glad you're enjoying it  Don't worry about the gear lever vibration - think that's a diesel thing and I've seen it mentioned on here a fair bit.

Oh, and you might want to update your sig now ;)

Chris

Dont suppose you could be a bit more specific on the better handling? does it roll less?, stiffer etc? i saw an 04 model on the motorway last week, thought it looked slightly lower than mine.. tho they could have had stuff in the boot.

yes.............lol.................it does roll less than the 2003 that I test drove (had a good run for about 45mins in it on my own) my vRS changes direction very quickly and feels more "go-kartish" than the 2003 model. Also on the motorway it rides better IMHO.

Chris lol yeah I will update the old sig......I thought it might be a diesel thing not that it bothers me as it's a fair bit quieter than the old pug.

What more can I say but I love it lol :D cant wait until it gets tuned muhahahahahaha
