Well Hello All !!

Featured Replies

 Well hello, thought I should finally register on here as I visit a fair bit for advice etc..

I am a proud owner of an Octavia 2001 VRS which has been re-mapped and modded to 256bhp its probably my fav car and beileve me I've had Scoobys, Fairladys and Evo's.

I often visit here for advice and research and problem solving and at the moment can not get my Engine Management light off, I did get an error code along the line of 4635 which point to cylinder 1, cant honestly remember, however have replace that coil recently with a £25 rubber screw on coil and was wondering if this is the reason, but car drives fine???

Any ideas would be great, look forward to your thoughts:thumbup:

Welcome

256 that's imptessive ;)

What's been done to get that?

Put it this way it has had a massive list of things done to much to mention this time of night, but things such as intercooler, bigger turbo re-map, etc it goes on and on spent a fair wack, but when your used to a nissan 300zx 3.0 twin turbo doing 342bhp its hard to get that feeling back, but the wife and daughter said it had to go ..... sniff sniff

but nevermind I managed to get a practical car again and refrain from getting another scooby P1, and landed with my OctyVrs yeee haaa Wolf in Sheeps Clothing !!!!

Hello and welcome.

Hiya.

I think you may have already diagnosed your issue; a coilpack fault.

Welcome :)

The car was miss firing due to a bad coil, however since replacing it the light is still on and the car drives fine, my concern was I've tried to clear it but it is still there....

I will post in the proper section with another question...

Thanks for the warm welcome

Type to you all later
