Positively arctic, put them on the Kelvin wall. Do I detect an Audi-ish influence?

the Kelvin wall? whats that! yeah a bit of audi, skoda, and other bits:)

Send the off to Skoda, you could make a fourtune!!!!!!

The Coupe looks great, new Rapid!?

Fantastic doodle as always, Leon

As one of their potential future car designers, do you think Skoda will ever buy into proper performance models and be a bit daring or do you think they will play it safe (maybe as a result of team orders?) and try and retain their current target audience of safe and sensible motorers with warm versions of each of the models?

Chris

so good work there mate

i think they should think about a ear engined rapid:D they had plenty of race cars back in the old days, so dont see why wiht a big nag to the big bosses why they shouldnt carry on with their heritage. give them time, the octavia was about planting a new seed for skoda,

i mean they've sorta done it with the roomy - not to all peoples tastes i know, but now there progressing i dont see why they shouldnt become more radical:) as well as keeping the safe sensible motorists *watch this space*:P:)

They could do a Rapid on a stretched version of the new VW Up! platform which is rear engined.

If I remember rightly, the lowest known or measureable temperature used to be -375 deg celcius / centigrade, whatever is currently fashionable, the Kelvin scale. This was the point at which some gas or other turned into a liquid. Its pretty cold.

Your doodles are always impressive Leon. Personally I would be wary of copyright putting them on an open forum, you never know who may steal your ideas :D

Or it could be the Kelvin art gallery in Glasgow :D

Absolute Zero is -273.15 Centigrade. Its the temperature at which (in theory) the particles within a body stop vibrating and are completely still. Gases would have turned into liquids well before reaching that temperature. Nitrogen liquifies at -195.8 centigrade and freezes at -210.0 centigrade (good old wikipedia).

The "doodles" are awesome! I wish I could doodle like that! However I have noticed that when at this early doodle stage, many cars seem to look the same. ie if you were to say this was a rough sketch of a new Bentley, no one would query it. Maybe I'm over-simplifying it, as there are obviously some Skoda influences in there (the slatted grill) but if you changed the grill to mesh, or left it empty, you could even say that the 2nd from bottom was a concept Mercedes.

I understand that, that 2nd from bottom sketch was me just seeing what else could be done with the grill, experimenting, theres all sorts of shapes in many cars these days that are simular "trends" but as a merc look alike it wasnt deliberate:)

Cracking stuff Leon, you've a great career ahead of you, that I have no doubt

That's an amazing concept
