Finally introducing myself

This is me just getting round to introducing myself. Bought a Black Fabia Vrs a few months back now from a guy whos on here, saw it through autotrader and was needing a diesel for work, my old mk3 golf gti wasnt any good for the 70 mile round trip to work and back ( lowered 110 all round, full stainless etc. :thumbdwn: ) So decided id go for a fabia. Was standard when i bought it and since then ive smoked the red part of the back lights, fitted a k and N panel filter, a cupra r front splitter, a vent in the inner wheel arch behind the intercooler and this week fitted KW 35mm lowering springs ( thanks to skudmissile on here for them ) so its sitting pretty sweet. Also fitted a pd160 air intake yesterday which i got from another member on here before the rolling road day i was at today at Dastek. The fabia put out 145bhp and 260lbft of torque, so i was pretty pleased, was expecting 130 to be honest. I'l post up some pics when i get a dry day to clean the car. Cheers, Euan

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. I wonder if someone can help me identify the correct OEM product number for a gearbox oil change I am planning. The car is 19 years old and just passed the 50k mile mark and I thought it would be prudent to change the oil when I service it this summer. The trouble I am having is getting any reliable information from online purveyors of oil. I would like to buy original VAG oil. Mine is a 5 speed manual gearbox.

Hi all, I recently ran a ODB II on my car and it’s came up a couple of fault codes, as follows: P20EE Nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor, catalyst, bank 1 - efficiency below threshold Status: Pending Engine control unit P003D(75) Intake camshaft profile control A, bank 1 - stuck on Status: Test failed, Pending, Test failed since last DTC clear, Test not completed during this operation cycle And to add to this, it’s regening every 100 miles and recently went into limp mode with a coil light on the da

Hi all, I'm trying to get at the lower radiator hose in my 2016 Octavia. I've looked on google and found that I should remove the seven t25 screws. 5 on the bumper splash shield and one on each side connected to the fender. The shield seems loose, but it won't come off and I don't want to try and pry it too much as I'm concerned that I'll crack it. Can someone tell me what additional screws, or maybe clips, need to be removed to get this off? many thanks for all info
