Thanks for coming along everyone. Was a good day in the end, after the horse box went away. Glad everyone made it home safely. Glad you liked the roads, and we can start thinking of one for the summer now, when hopefully it may have stopped raining.

Right I'm off to try and turn myself green.

Was a good meet. I feel young lol..

Was a good drive too :)

I'd class my driving style as flambouyant (sp) ;)

Certainly looked that way from where I was sitting :D

A video is on it's way as I type, hope I have done a decent job on it and it isn't too boring

Got to enjoy yourself, i dont mind the wee Fabia spinning its wheels now as the clutch has been done, just adds to the fun. lol

And here it is :) enjoy!

EDIT: fixed version linked on the next page

Brilliant, Nice to see most of the 'flambouyant' driving has been edited to save the licenses,

Good job!

Nice video Mike, great day out Ian.

You're parents are cool , i'd never get mine to go on a 'Brisk' drive never mind film it, good effort.

As expected, the black Fabias dominated the day which was rather hampered by some old blue Octy holding everyone else up...... lol! :o

Glad everyone enjoyed it and looking forward to the next one. :D

And Jason, i know what you mean, i felt young too..... lol! Nice car BTW!

Mum did a good job with the camera under very tough conditions :D I did warn them what to expect

I'll have to get a camera mount at some point, it will get me much more footage to play with, I do enjoy a bit of movie-making :)

yes nice and filthy now

Also to add your parents were cool Mike , i was taking it easy and sensible to start off with just incase they felt uncomfortable:thumbup:

Also you guys seem to follow each others back bumpers, i thought i was a 'brisk' driver but you guys , i like to leave a bit of space :)

I know what you mean Jason, I don't like to close right up if I'm going fast, you can read the road better from a bit further back rather than reacting only to the car ahead.

This theory is fine if you have as much power as the cars you are following

As I couldn't stay with any of you out of slow corners, I'd get round and find that you'd all scarpered off out of camera range  I could only really catch up through very twisty bits :)

I don't normally drive close... but it was that old blue octy holding us up ;) every time I put my foot down i nearly hit him! lol...... :P (only kjidding Ian, you did a great drive!) although mac seemed to be pretty fast on the A66 on the way there!

great vid Mike

Humph, i'm off to sulk now, did'nt make it on to the credits :(

nuts!! I knew I'd missed something :( I shall ammend and reupload :)

 only joking, (It's my own fault for driving such a subtle shade of motor :D)

While you're at it Mike you may want to correct Jason's name on the credits too (two digits missing) otherwise spot on!

 Nicely done bro.

Glad I did an decent job for you Dave, I know you guys like enjoy a pleasent 'amble' through the countryside. :D I do like a bit of cornering myself. But swmbo realised it was harder than it seams to lead a group of cars on a route, not going too fast to lose people but quick enough to be enjoyable. And spot puddles/ lakes and pot holes for people to miss.

Looks like I missed another good day - instead, I walked over the Humber bridge both directions on Saturday AND Sunday! I need the exercise to try and shed a few pounds.
