We are working on introducing a bluetooth kit that caters for charging your mobile phone which is where many bluetooth kits fail. This should be available late spring 2007.

I am looking at changing my octy elegance and get the new L&K has anybody got one? Also would love to have bluetooth handsfree built in, would pay for it extra maybe they should put it in as a option with the satnav thing? Does anybody know if this will be a option for next year hopefully going to get a deal in January

It's miles behind the times not to IMHO. It's available in the EU which is the parts that we've been installing ourselves.

The units that come through now have a 1Z part number which is an Octavia number.

Yeah i have read your review, think I may have to it! But don't think i have the expertise and wouldn't want to wreck the L&K, it is what i am looking for at the moment goes through my 910 tomtom and its not a great bluetooth unit

Simpsons in Preston can fit the bluetooth kit if you don't want to do it yourself!

So I could buy the car and take it to simpsons! Ace plan, might just be doing that, you never know it might be in by the time i order late january and with a 12 week built time, as i will be having options on it!

8-10 weeks for delivery,so if you want it for the 1st of March, I'd be placing your order this month. But, early Jan will be OK for mid March

Yeah but it is christmas, unless there are amazing deals going on like 0% interest for three years then I think I am best off waiting until January!!! ;-)

Just heard from Skoda UK and they do not have any plans of offering it as a option!!! Damn

I would if you can afford it - It's a really neat bit of kit.

If you gets Ants to fit you a 1K0 phone unit you'll also be able to use the touch screen to manage your calls and contacts etc.

tempting may have to pop in, and see if they can do it all before i pick up the l&k! shame though will miss the groovy screen that tells you if you are going to hit something!
