Hey, ive been browsing here for a little while now, so thought id post to say HEYYY

im hoping to get a fabia vrs, lovely cars, very quick too, however my first opinion of them is that the handling peers very sketchy? this is coming from a vauxhall astra driver (and there handling isn't great) probably just something you get used to? and its not as bad as it feels.

mods...

rear spacers? strut braces etc for handling?

engine bay, remap or chip and air filter and inlet upgrade?

spoke to the insurers i hope to be using and they told me they wont charge for:

any handling modifications, dump valves, exhausts, air filters, wheels, cant go wrong really

what are those stupid dump valves like on diesels? personaly i think i will keep the car standard bar remap and handling(lowering).

I wouldnt put spacers on a Furby vRS - a good handling package would be better.

A remap is also a must!

low battery indicated remove battery check voltage if 3v clean battery around the area where the contacts touch and the contacts also isopropal will do refit battery will save a new one

Have come to use the A/C for the first time this past week and noticed that pressing the button for the recirculating air doesn’t appear to work. Button presses but nothing happens it doesn’t light up and stays off Also through the media center doesn’t do anything, wondering if anyone has come across this before? Or is it a trip to Skoda?

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? What it says on the tin, really; recently my oil warning light came on, flashed a few times, made a really loud intermittent beeping sound, and then turned off again. This happened several times during a journey, but actually stopped after a little while. I checked the oil level, and its fine, so I reckon it's an issue with the oil pressure sensor/switch (I did get an OBD tool, but that came up as no error codes, so I'm really in the dark here).
