Regards,

What do you want to use it for?

if you just want a PC that small with low power consumption but not very powerful the Via EPIA systems are worth looking at, with mini-ITX the full system can be about the size of a CD-drive.

If you want something a bit more powerful with upgradeability (core2duo etc) look at the shuttle systems, or also the Asus terminator barebones systems..

theres a few HERE

Its to go into my boot of my car. I basically want a carpc, but I want to install it myself and I don't want to spend a fortune! I don't need fancy graphics or loads of space cause I'm going to run itunes, an internet browser and probably TV. I've looked at the ideqs, and the mac minis. My problem is that the ideqs seem quite unreliable and the shuttles are quite expensive, along with the mac mini...

Yes... have a look at the VIA EPIA. its a common choice for car-PCs.. uses the Mini-ITX form factor..

some ITX systems are HERE.. just get an appropriate case, memory, hard drive etc

You can get EPIA on the nano-ITX format now which is even smaller :D

Hmmm Small PC you say?

I've got a tiny P4 1.6 system that I'm probably selling.

It would be ideal for a car PC - I can give you more details and some pics when I get to work.

I'm doing the same at the moment and ordered all my bits yesterday, I went with the Via 1.5ghz nano-itx board so I can fit everything in an old din head unit - LinITX.com - VIA Epia NX15000 Nano-ITX Mainboard

I was very tempted to go for something with a bit more beans but compactness is more important than power for me on this one.
