Ok, this is car related, not about the current state of the PC-crazy world

Basically, given the choice of these two colours.. which is better??

Bearing in mind this is me here, so things like which is easier to keep clean/looks better when its not washed every day like mr grumpy does..

Is white one of those colours that only suits certain cars?.. if so what makes white look "right?"

Can't stand white cars normally. Only white cars I've seen that I liked are the new GTI Golf and the Lamborghini Countach.

I can't stand white cars. Someone at work has a white S3, and it's vile.

Black normally but white does suit some cars.

If forced to choose, black looks smarter (but also requires A/C)

My first car was a turd-brown Studebaker - a wash at Christmas was enough!

Well as far as colours go, every car ive ever bought that ive had the choice of colour has been black so far because other colours dont really take my fancy..

Silver - too anonymous

red - not my colour

blue - possibly, but only certain shades/metallics

white - hmmm

dark grey mettalics aint bad.. but again depends on the specific car and shade.

White cars have actually really grown on me lately. If I could I would respray my Fabia white.

White looks good brand new, but then after a while you begin to think that they've forgotten to put the proper colour on top!

If it's a 'new style' white, i.e. a candy white finish with a bit of depth to it, then maybe - a la BMW's current offering. Looks ace on the 1 Series (if in M Sport trim) and M3 etc...

Defo black, There are a few cars out there that look really good in white, But they tend to be at the more exotic end of the market, Everything else looks either like a PHC or plod motor
