Ive got one fitted, and MY PERSONAL OPINION....it feels a lot better.

EACH TO THERE OWN...(JUst covering my backside for snide comments..)

Does anyone know what colour these "seat sport" braces are.

red

Mines red at the mo too, but ive got some paint for it so its the same green as the calipers....Hammerite Green.

Here is a picture of the Seat Sport brace fitted (Ibiza TDi)

I then changed it for an alloy brace that Forge do/did(Dn't know if they still do them?)

I agree. My car feels a lot more assured on the entry to bends/corners than it did before I fitted the strut brace. The steering is juest a little bit tighter, so it feels like the car is going where you're putting it. I think it's £50 well spent., Incidentally, I bought mine from a Seat dealer (W J King) online, as I don't have a local Seat dealer - arrived 2 days later, and they didn't even charge for postage.

i've got the forge one on my fabia also, don't know i it does anything, but it does look good

You've hit the nail on the head there.

I've always thought most "modding" is done for the sake of appearances.

One question though, how good does it look with the bonnet closed?

if you have x ray vision, just the same probably,my 312's and jabba rarb, dogbone mount make one hell of a noticable difference, and i'm sure the coilovers, clutch, smf and lsd are really going to be great:D

lol! I would be interested to know your thoughts about the Dogbone mount oilburnin..... :)

dog bone mount is a very good mod as far as it works well,my traction off the line has improved 30% at least so all good there, the trade off is that even after 2000miles it is still very noisy and vibrates more than is comfortable at idle, but if you can put up with the discomfort,go for it,it is a very cheap effective mod, can't wait for my clutch and smf to arrive, then we will be having some lsd action:thumbup:

Ta muchly - 312s for me next! :) And I like the look of the front strut brace too - thanks for the pics guys!
