Don't get me wrong i don't universally hate the produce of the Bayerische Motoren Werke, in fact some of their cars are really rather good, however, can anyone tell me the point of this vehicle?

If you want a 4x4 you buy a 4x4. If you want a coupe you buy a coupe. And never the twain shall meet, until now apparently. Why oh why oh why....?

surely the orig UR quattro was a coupe with off road ability.......

Yes again... why?! Doesn't exactly look good and seems totally impractical for use as a 4x4 or a coupe driving car! Never mind... they gave it a go... im sure someone will buy one though!!!

A 4x4 doesn't need to be uber-practical - just because you off-road doesn't mean you also carry large dogs and antique sideboards. So fair play to them for making something with off-road capabilities which doesn't look like an 80s Volvo on stilts. I'd have one...

similar performance / interior space..

sure the list price is alot difference but if you are running on a 3yr lease as a co car.. its less than you would think.

Quite like it and have seen far worse looking cars (new Fabia and Roomster for instance ) Not sure I'd own one, but I can see it being popular with school run Mums who want a 4x4 driving position in a car with some style and sporty credentials.

I used to think the X6 was a rediculous idea, but looking at the pictures, it looks half decent, and I'm confident they'll sell like hotcakes.

I saw one of these in the Easter hols in the south of France. It was a test mule, but hardly disguised at all. It looked big - that's all I thought at the time. Oh, and I also thought "What's the point?"

and i was just thinking the other week,i wish some one would make a large 4x4 coupe,it makes no sense,and the first time i saw the pics i hated it,having seen these,its growing on me:D
