If it were me, I'd go with the Milltek. Like the look, sound and quality of their stuff.

what steve said, i had a full milltek on my volvo t5 and it was awesome!

not too loud, looked great and the build quality and fit was spot on

Judging by pervious posts the milltek isn't a brilliant fit especially the resonated version.

I have never heard of this problem with the blueflames though.

I fitted a Miltek to a previous car, 10 mins to fit as the fitting was spot on, just like the genuine OEM one it replaced.

Nice deep noise too, unlike some of the tinny raspy exhausts some ch@v's use.

Fitted a Scorpion a few years ago too, nice system, nearly as good as the Miltek IMO.

I'm sure Milltek would address a fitting issue, if there was a problem. Or at least provide some advice. Did you get in touch with them about it?

It can also depend on who fits it as well - I've seen identical exhaust systems fitted and some look better than others

Whats wrong with blueflame?

Nothing wrong with the blueflame....just prefer a very suttle noise like the jetex or the quieter Milltek.....although had a Miltek on my VX and it sounded

Car sounds gr8.

Is it a resonated front pipe or without front silencer?

I couldn't tell you, I bought just the cat back and couldnt get the tailpipe to sit straight so got aa deal on the downpipe and 100cel cat, once all of it was fitted it sat nice and straight.

what sort of price and where are stockists?

I have a jetex on my octy good fit and even with my home brew 3' down pipe and 200cel cat its still quiet. Paid 320 of the Queens finest (inc p&p) direct from jetex themselves.

Just back from dyno,now 228BHP since fitting Jetex sports cat and downpipe and cat back system.Was 205BHP before fitting.

Just to update....

I bought a Cat Back Blueflame exhaust and it certainly looks the business.

Fitted it today....took a while but fitted very nicely with no tilting to one side as experienced by some people.

Happy with sound although it is quite quiet. I gather I need to give it a week or so before it will sound its best??

Well my turbo back cat and system flew through the Mot today along with the rest of the car .

I know the thread is old but no point in opening another. Well i got my blueflame exhaust today and i seems to have a centre silencer and back box, same as the OEM one really. Now all i am wanting is a sound upgrade. Is there anyone on here with just CAT back exhaust? Is the sound nice? How loud?

I originally bought the cat back Blueflame system from ebay, I wasn't really interested in a power upgrade as I had allready had a remap I only wanted it for the sound, the sound was great on just the cat back although the tailpipe didn't sit straight and my local garage couldn't get it to sit straight so I bought the sports cat and downpipe, I didn't notice much difference in noise but the way the engine delivered the power was much different to before.

Hi i am lookin at gettin a new zorst.

I dont like the look of the blueflame as the tail pipe curves up on all the ones ive seen. plus the back boxs is round and bulges down. same with the miltec and piper ones.

this one looks as though it wont be like that.

has anyone got one of these on?
