Featured Replies

Hi all!

First things first. Thanks to all of you for making such a great site!

Anyway I've just bought a 2003 Octavia vRS with 40 000 on the clock in black magic and love it to bits.

I sadly got rid of my Honda CRX 1.6 VTi not long ago:( but this car has definatley put a :D back on my face.

Here are some pics!

Things I have or am doing. Will upload pics when I get the chance.

Got the wheel nut covers that were missing.. and a few spare!

Fitted front mudflaps. Genuine Skoda ones. £15. Seem good quality, easy to fit, fit the profile well and seem attached well.

Getting in the rear mudflaps from ALS Lock (local skoda garage- seem good so far, even give me a few spare wheel bolt caps:thumbup:). Should stop those nasty stone chips.

New bonnet badge as mine was stone chipped..... However, when removing the old badge the chrome effect peeled off with it! So now you can just see a few defects in the chrome outside of the badge. So I will be rethinking that one... see below!

Would like to fit the vRS Wheel Cap inserts and steering wheel badge. Need to get hold of MAS.

Building up the natural colour of the plastic bumpers as mine have faded. Using black in a flash from turtle wax at the min.. Does a good job, but might end up getting new ones?? Opinions please??

Fitted front and rear Osram Diadem indicator bulbs ( No more fried egg!!)... Osram Diadem PY21W from Power Bulbs

Have also ordered these sill covers....

Skoda Octavia - AUTHENTIC Skoda Auto door sill covers Motorsport edition : Skoda Tuning = superskoda.com

Things to do in the near future.

Cambelt and metal water pump.

4 New Toyo Proxes T1-R - Had them on the CRX and they were great:thumbup:

Milotec 40004 grill.

Cheers

Rob

Welcome

It looks nice and clean

Looks good, nice clean rear end.

Nice clean car, wont stay like that for long..........LOL

Nice Vrs, looks identical to mine, I bought mine about four months ago now, cracking car, best I`ve had. Black is a biatch to keep clean though! Already had front and rear mudflaps on it when I bought it, and bought the superb Vrs wheel & steering wheel inserts from Mas, looks great on. Also fitted Osram diadems to the indicators all round too, sooo much better looks. Smoked number plates and Skoda auto surrounds, and Philips Xtreme bulbs, and Philips blue visions sidelights fitted, as the originals were pants.

please delete this post mods:rolleyes:

Hi all,

Got to agree that the osram diadems improve the look of the car.

The black looks so good when its clean! but then gets so dirty so quickly!! :(

Lots of cleaning to do and love what they have done with this ---> Polished Bliss: Megane R26. - Detailing World

Hello and welcome. Looking good.

Anyone want to place a bet on how long it takes for the good members of Briskoda to persuade you into a remap group buy :P ?
