Sixty Quid!!!!!!!!!...........

Featured Replies

.......................is what it just cost me to fill up with Shell V-Power . Let the tank run to virtually zero and filled up as normal but when I turned to look at the 'meter' it showed £60.12 :(.

At now over £1.10 a litre, when is this fuel nightmare ever going to end?

My local shell was 108. something this week and I thought that was bad

In fairness I did fill up in one of the major filling stations on the A34 and therefore more expensive than elsewhere but it's still £10 a tank more than what I was paying not only 6 months ago!.

Yes I know what your saying!

It's about £10 extra to fill up from when I brought mine :thumbdwn:

Stop driving it or buy a diesel then!!!

Farlington or Segensworth is about the best VFM around here.

My Land Rover takes 95lts, you do the maths.

Tesco finest for me at the mo. V-Power is just too much of a luxury.

Having said that Tesco's is bleedin' dear as well.

The prices are bonkers - when is it going to slow down? And where is all that tax money going?

It always costs me between 60 and 65 quid to fill my tank. :(

Cost me nearly £60 last weekend in Milton Keynes :(

£42 to fill mine

100.9 at my local Shell. Its 101.9 now.

Don't be silly!

Out of interest Steve, how many miles will that £60 take you???

Pah, all the garages round here are between 107.9 and 110.9.

Tis a load of rollocks.

You know working out on how much belgian beer & chocolate costs there and here, and the fact that in bruge derv is 107.9 Euro. It might be cheaper to fill up there and bring beer back for anyone who is near dover.

Oh stop whinging steve.. the last 3 tanks have cost over £60 in the furby!

i put £57 of diesel in the Fabia the other night , could of got more in as well , 107.9p litre :(

Get used to it, the day the price drops I'll run naked down the A5!

Noted :P;)

If the price drops, I'll pay Kaiser-B a tank of fuel NOT to run naked down the A5

:D

It still takes best part of a full day though, especially with the bad weather the ferries (free tickets!) are all over the place.

About £57 to the brim and 270 miles per tank, sometimes this lasts a week other times it's about 5 days worth

It does vary imensley on when and where I've been, but anything between 250 and 350 miles per tank :o

£57 to fill up last night and I manage 350 miles to a tank on avg.

 the most I've ever paid to fill the furby up was £45 @ £1.09/ltr and got near enough 400 miles out of it

You're going to have to bite the bullet Steve and join the dark side :D
