Heres an interesting (slightly geeky) question..

How much "portable" Data-storage do you carry round with you everywhere..

I would say that work related things like laptops do not count, because you wouldnt really have them with you outside work:

heres mine for an example:

2gb high speed USB key on keyring

8gb usb key on keyring

8gb Ipod Nano

N95 with 8gb memory card

Total= 26gb :eek:

to think this time last year wouldnt even have been 1/4 of that amount! :eek::eek:

I have a 4GB USB stick that's always in my bag!

No idea. How much is there on a standard Motorola Razr V3 (black)?

I presume we're not counting ROM.

I've got a USB stick in my jacket pocket - I think it's 256MB.

2gb on my K770i and that's about it , though I've often got my Ricoh R6 camera with another 2gb.

I've got a 2gb USB stick in my laptop bag but that's not always with me.

72TB.... if you call a 19" array portable as I just carried it to my desk

I've only got the 80Mb internal storage on my phone, so ner

My work phone tells me it has 8MB. There's a memory card in there too - might be 16MB ... but it's not with me all the time, and pretty useless as portable storage, anyway.

Edit: ooh I did it an injustice, it's 32MB

2 N.I DVLA CD's

and an MI5 network server...oops they don't know thats gone missing yet.

Today - 123Gb (120Gb portable hard drive, 2Gb USB stick, 1Gb on phone).

Usually 3Gb. Or 33Gb if iPod's in the other pocket

2Gb at least in a usb stick. I'll get an 8 or even 16Gb when the price drops a bit.

They recon the brain is equivalent to about 10Tb, plus my phone = 10.0008 Tb

4gb usb flash drive and 1gb memory card in my N95. Don't tend to carry my MP3 player around with me unless I want to use it

Sometimes carry my phone which has 2gb mem, but usually dont as in my line of buiness it gets broken easily

A 4 gig USB memory key usually in the door pocket or on my person. A 16GB iPod touch and an N95 with a 4 gig memory card.

24 gig total.

1gb on usb stick, 1gb in phone thats enough unless i count the 1gb mp3 player.

Just a half gig USB stick. Use it for work as often need to nab accounting data off client's systems.
