Robbo, the idea of a newsletter was mooted about 2 years ago, and nobody came forward with very much in the way of material. If you have a workable idea and you and/or others can provide material on an ongoing basis, I'm sure you'd be very welcome to re-float the idea.

Tell ya what... just throw a simple front cover together.

I've already started one, then when you're done post it up and see what people think.

Right this has taken me twenty mins and I used the default fonts in Publisher... so don't nag - my art teacher said I was more autistic than artistic

Just a general idea mate

The way I was thinking for content would be something in the region of

* Member Spotlight

* Feature Car

* Handling Tips/Tricks

* General Maintenance

* Tuning Reviews (Which intake etc.)

* Q+A

All in all about six to eight pages long should do the trick if you're going down the newsletter route

Of course we have most of this on the site... but like I said before, putting faces to usernames would be nice - and I'm sure everybody would be keen to have thier car as a "Cover Car"

Frankly that's plain daft, this is a Skoda enthusiasts website and the main interest should be as such. Such niche areas should be avoided otherwise you'll end up alienating the the broader membership.

We're going to have to agree to disagree on this one Ken, it may be the case that the majority here are car enthusiasts but the reason they joined this site was not for that reason. Any magazine or web newsletter needs to be based mainly on the marque and Briskoda imho.
