Personally I dont need them being a woman, on our car they were fitted for my husband as men in general cannot judge 6" , the distance when the warning note is continuously on.

I didn't really need parking sensors my wife always responds after I have reversed into something with "Didn't you see that I told you that was there" I think the bleep at 6" or may be 4" before is much nicer and keeps the peace;)

It could well be perlesant but remember you can only get a Octavia RS in Lemon Yellow the fabia comes with it but not a Standard Octavia IMHO if the car is different then the colour must be also. I paniked when I ordered yellow but have no regrets at all I still love the "mean magic black" "rally red" /" "colirado red" and "pretty blue" colours not forgetting the stay clean "sensible diamond silver" which is probably the most practical and sellable colour.

Is there anyone on here who can post a pic of one with a wrc spoiler?

Daytripper take a look at the following website:

http://www.milotec.de

They have some pics of a WRC spolier, I am also thinking of getting one but I am not too sure about this as it will only make people want to race you even more?!?!

LOL I dont mind people trying to race me at the lights.

But that spoiler looks great, what do you think about the badgeless grill, cant make my mind up.

Can't say I like much of the stuff on there.

The fuel caps look OK, I like the vents for the front spoiler and the twin tailpipes, but most of the other stuff I'm not keen on. The WRC spoiler is just slightly over-the-top for my liking. However, I'm very tempted by the stainless steel "footrest"... Anyone know where I can get one over here?

By the way, if you're planning on changing the front grille, why would you de-badge it? What's the point of buying a Skoda if you're going to de-badge it? Skoda-Pride ;)

Always happy to oblige.

And again.

It looks like it should be on some other car - a Subaru for instance. I'm a fan of understated cars - which the vRS just about is as standard. If an inconspicuous spoiler on the rear of the boot is good enough for a 150mph Senator 24V, why would the vRS need that monstrosity? :(

Hello Witchfinder-at-work try the following company for the foot-rests and all other Skoda related items:

http://www.jhmbuttco.com/page3.html

I already have the foot-rests but not fitted them yet I aslo have the badgeless grill which I am also waiting to fit. The reason I brought it is because I think it makes the Skoda look more agressive if there is such a thing. And not because I am ashamed about driving a Skoda. Also I will still have the Skoda badge on the rear plus the whole car is still a Skoda.

the badgeless grill looks well mean, thats why i like it, however i would not remove the badge to hide the fact it is a skoda. thats silly.but its a nice grill, i would leave the grill standard as preople woould probably think "trying to hide a skoda" scenario! just the wrc spoiler for me!

Hi Daytripper,

Don't forget to post some pics of your RS with the WRC spoiler in place. Do you have an ETA on when you will be buying it? As I said I am two minds about getting one however, I must admit they do look great. When we met at Silverstone last year one of the guys had the WRC spolier on his car and I just kept going on and on about the spoiler. I probably will buy one but I have a few mods that I want to complete before I purchase the spoiler.

Planning on getting the octavia late august, the spoiler, probably before i get the car.

I have the JHM Butt catalogues (in hard copy, replacement parts and the additional accessories), they do some interesting stuff. I'm considering the centre arm rest in black leather for the front (I think someone a while back said they'd fitted it to their RS, I wonder how easy this is?). Also, stainless steel sill protectors. The Milotec WRC rear wing is nice (oh yes!), but

Is the password for Butt still "shrek"?

Last time I tried it was spiderman.

Is it my imagination or are you a little bit off colour? Or is the WRC now available in grey??

Time to paint the dog........dog.gif

They decided to do one in silver so they don't have to keep washing it :p

Try getting into a parking space in a big city over here (in fact try finding a parking space , never mind getting into one!) then you would know why! Parking sensors are common on most quality cars here , like the Octavia and Superb , and also on lesser, more inferior car brands such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW (sorry Huck!)

We can also see in daylight unlike some of our Scandinavian members hence we do not need to drive around with our headlights on during the daytime! (But our eyesight isn't quite so good when it comes to parking..............). redface.gif
