Well the maf only seemed to properly fail last week, but no idea how long it's been slowly dying or if it just failed one day.

I've been getting a surge on part throttle which is why I changed the plugs (just incase, they needed doing anyway I think).

I will do some more testing on the way home to see if it was the maf causing problems...

No error codes but can't comment on the part surging yet :)

It's not that bad and only happens now and then, see will see if I can provoke it tonight!!!

Sounds good though hope it's ok

It probably won't cure the part throttle surge but iam glad you got it sorted.

Personally i would have tried the Maf first before getting the coils but at least you have some spares.

One of the coils was missfiring anyway so figures I'd replace all 4 at the same time, means I have 3 spare now (they are the L revision).

Going to log 003 and check for missfires on the way to the gym, should all be sorted now!!!! :D

For anyone that cares :D

No missfires and maf was reading about 160g/s @ 5k rpm in 2nd gear.

All is resolved.

Did anyone notice the car feels a little bit slower gapped to 0.7mm?

Maybe i'm just getting even more used to the car but it feels a little different since I put the new plugs in. Then again i've had a new maf / coil packs too :D

Running REALLY smooth now tho
