No Screwdriver

Featured Replies

I have had my Elegance estate now for a few months and I have just noticed the screwdriver is missing from the spare wheel tool box, should they be one with the car and would the dealer give me a new one for free?.

Stop you'll be getting us Yorkshire folk a reputation for been tightfisted :D

There isn`t one in my Ambiente Estate.

I seem to remember that there was a screwdriver in my old 2002 H/B Comfort - but there was also a battery cover. Maybe they wanted to save some money....

You would drive to a dealer to demand for a free screwdriver?

The trip imo would be a waste of time and money, and relations with the dealer may be a little funny afterwards.

My old fabia 1.2 comfort (53) had a screwdriver.

Can't hurt to ask next time you're over that way.

just a thought but on some models they are puched into the end of the tyre iron, is there a little black thing poking out the end, pull it out :)

i think the screwdriver was deleted from the tools , i know my March 04 never had one, or for that matter my dads June 04

although i have a got a Galaxy one in there now

There is no screwdriver so you never had one to ask fro a free one.

Think about it.

What do you need one for?

TBH, its a poor quality one and pretty useless on the side of the road anyway.

'53 Plate Comfort has one.

07 fabia doesn't

My 2000 elegance had a screwdriver

The replacement 2004 elegance had none.

I'm missing the tool to remove the wheel bolt covers and screwdriver on my 56 plate vrs too.
