Well, the new bumper went on today! Things to note

1) the washer jet covers came from Skoda in a glossy black, and I've stuck them on with texflex

2) the top portion of the bumper is likely to need another respray, in which case I'll ask them to be colour coded

3) The bumper does not line up perfect with the wings. Think I need new plaggy bits the bumper goes in as both are worn from years of bumper off, bumper on, bumper off...

4) the LCR splitter is SEXY!

5) wide-mouth look is just how I wanted it, but now my FMIC appears lost in the depths of the mouth.

6) Yes, the mesh is Ripspeed, but it's really solid, and kind of matches the mesh in the badgeless grille.

7) The car really needs a wash.

Also agree with you on the LCR splitter, think it's probably the best cosmetic mod you can do on a Fabia... looks better than it does on the LCR !!

VW evolo wheels. Had them on my first fabia when I had a slight incident. Thankfully fairly rare wheels and I've only seen the wheels on one other fabia before, and I ended up buying those wheels off him!

Yours is actually not in my possession yet - should be tomorrow. Collecting one off wiebo tomorrow morning, and I have another one in my bedroom. Both are destined for yourself and gmaster.

I have some mesh jase, just waiting to take the bumper off monday, reattatch my splitter, my new fmic, and then mesh

I am going for the 'old' Mongrel look for the time being, mainly as I cant spend the money on a vRS front bumper (yet). I may have to at some stage due to the Xenon washers that I'm supposed to refit though, who knows

Dave - I can see from that pic you still have the knobblie plastic bits along the mouth edge. I spent a good 3 hours or so ensuring those were cut right back as far as possible, and then sanding them down so the mesh could be as flush as possible with the edge.

Looking good though.
