Sorry for backing up Freakcrab and making you look even more wrong ;)

Q' date=' how many Fabia owners does it take to change a lightbulb.

A. None, they're too thick to do it themselves so they beg an Octy owner to do it for them.

;)[/quote']

Maybe we should start a new thread??

Q: How many Octavia owners does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: Who cares? Fabia owners are too busy driving around enjoying their cars to worry about blown bulbs.

Here...fishy fishy :D

For anyone considering a Fabia RS, can i point them towards the "Common Problems" thread on Briskoda...

Search for "Common Problems" and it should come up.

Your Honour, the prosecution rests, and i'm off to clean my lovely Octy RS, complete with Lumbar supports :D

Heh heh heh.

For anyone considering an Octavia, can I point them towards the nearest mental asylum? :D:D

Don't think so...

Go check out the Euro NCAP site. The Octy was tested in Model Year 2001' date=' the Fabia in MY 2000.

But we won't let the facts get in the way of your desperate attempts to justify your purchase of an inferior car, will we ;)

Octy Test

Furby Test

The Octy may well come off better in a crash with another vehicle because

the one tested is 25% heavier than the Furby tested. To quote the ncap

FAQ:

"From the laws of physics, all other things being equal, heavy cars do better than light cars when they are involved in a frontal impact. To avoid mass effects, Euro NCAP tests and compares cars within size categories. The safety of cars in a size category is not a function of mass, but it is dependent upon good design."

Unfortunately this leads many towards SUV ownership :thumbdwn: where

folks buy cars far heavier than necessary to feel 'safe'.

Stu.

Heh heh heh.

Point away, we'll go visit the Furby owners and laugh at them ;)

Damn...should've seen all this coming!

Daz,

Spotted your motor in Scarcroft office car park this morning (and later on the ring road :wave23d: ).

There seemed to be a distinct lack of Briskoda sticker on your car...... :nono: ;)

By the way, if your insurance covers you to drive other people's cars, then we can go out for a spin one lunchtime if you need more time behind the wheel of a furby to make your mind up.

Duncan...

Cheers... I do have cover to drive other cars but it is only 3rd party..

Also I like to give a car some stick on a road test to see how it handles different roads, so I would not feel comfortable doing this to yours...

Yes I've seen your's how many stickers have you got? can you see out of the windows?

I have got the 'free sticker' provided at Brunters... thats enough !!

Cheers

Dazz
