Woohoo! Got myself a vRS!

Featured Replies

I'm working:mecry:I'm SO gutted! I don't often work on Saturdays but it has been booked for months :( Then again, I need the extra money to pay for the lovely car!

You could always let me take it to Blackpool for you ;)

Nice choice. Best colour too :)

Enjoy.

welcome to vrs ownership, car looks cracking

Ha-uuuuuuge thanks to anonymouse for finding me the car and to Wardy and ric04vrs for their help too.

I suspect Wardy and ric04vrs spent a helluvalot more time and effort than the ten mins search and few bits of advice I sent.

Full credit to them :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Full credit and "ha-uuuuuuge thanks" to all 3 of you.

I've enjoyed having the new car admired by my colleagues today. Just wish the roads weren't so horrible and salty cos it's looking grubby already. :(

Just as well you didn't buy a black one then ;)

You don't know how easy you've got it :P

Yeah, that's one of the main reasons why I wasn't keen on getting a black one. Andy's only around as weekends to clean my car so I thought silver would be best! ;)

I won't be making him do ALL the work, honest! :o

Could have been worse Katie, I have a yellow vrs and thats a challange to keep clean at times but once it is cleaned it's the business.

Mine is in for repair today to the brake switch but the garage have assured me there will be a clean vRS for me when I come to collect it in a hour.

Nice. I hadn't realised you were that short before though. ;)

The name didn't give it away then?! :D

You could have been being ironic, or just shorter than your netball playing mates.

Very true, but I am indeed of diminutive stature, just making it past the 5ft mark! And I even stood on the pavement to make myself look taller! :o

looks really nice Kate  enjoy.

So I noticed. Ah well, you can always claim to be 4 feet 13 inches tall? :D

Well, I usually claim to be 5 foot and 1 centimetre. They've measured me at work and marked it on a pillar!

They've measured me at work and marked it on a pillow! :D

No, sorry Katie - looked some more but no-one does booster seats for drivers for Fabias :P

I have to ask Mr P to do my roof because I can't get to the middle bit! Then he keeps me company by drinking coffee and smoking fags whilst I carry on. The passers by think that it's comical but it's my car and I like to do it myself :D

To get to the middle of the roof I open the doors and stand on the sill. I don't let anyone polish my car either!!

My sis uses a stool to get at the roof of her Jazz, and she's 5'7".

Thank goodness for driver's seat height adjustment eh?

And blocks of wood on my feet to reach the pedals?!

Actually I had a look at a Fiesta the other week and I couldn't get the seat far enough forward to be able to comfortably get the clutch all the way in/down!! Not that I was actually thinking of buying one anyway...

Who's 'she'? The cat's mother?! :P

Never understood that phrase...!
