Blade404............... Will be no match for all these Skoda's in a lowly Ford.

There any chance the severe weather warning on that area might cause problems as it's talking of flooding?

So we're adding the 'my car's not amphibious' to the excuse list as well then?

:P

You may want to check your map before setting out:confused:

Anyway, it is mucho fun if it is a wet track, but forecast is for dry weather according to the met office website.

Luckily we dont get much flooding in this part of the world, and if your using the M3/M25/M11 to get here, then spray will be your biggest problem.

Going from the last one we had at the airfield, its much more fun in the wet, although the Scoobie's and Elise's that shared the last day with us might might not agree.....LOL

It's supposed to be dry and bright in the morning, with the possibility of showers later in the day.

Best of both worlds! :D

I hope you have polished your car......LOL

I hope you have polished your car......LOL

Mine was clean until this mornings rain and motorway spray. No doubt it will be a nice shade of filth by tomorrow.

Having to drive a long distance to get to the meet, I too will suffer the same problem..................................

All of three miles...LOL

Lol! I do wash and polish my car regularly you know, you just caught me on an off day! :finger: :P I can promise it will be cleaner than last time though, so I hope that counts for something. :D

Is there a decent jet wash nearby? :D

Mine's pretty mucky. Wheels have got lots of brake dust. Hoping the 250 miles to North Weald later will have a cleaning effect on it. :D Otherwise might just rub it down with a damp rag or something. I'm not really bothered.

well there is a Shell and a BP garage nearby, at least one of them may should have a jet wash

Either that or the bosnians near me are quite reasonable.

I'm still waiting for it to stop raining so I can take mine to the Albainians who charge the same price as a jet wash but do a cracking job

Shame it's still raining here :thumbdwn:

There's a higher chance of hell freezing over than me visiting any so called 'hand wash' carwash

Might drop by a jetwash, depending on how it's looking. I'll be down to the Travelodge around 22:00, so will see you all in the morning :)

Cheers,

Steve

Post meet discussion thread created so it's easier to find the pics and vids
