New Volkswagen Scirocco

Featured Replies

that looks ace!

Not as nice as the concept, but I suppose the production cars never are.

Poor mans version here: SEAT SportCoupé “Bocanegra” - SEAT Cupra.net

(I expect Jon's already seen this on Cupranet)

Shows what can be done with the Fabia chassis

hmmm, think I prefer the old one personally, might be a grower though

I thought this looked like the new Golf tbh...

Yes I have! :D I prefer the Bocenegra to the Scirocco.

NOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

What have they done to it!!!!!

That nose looks sh*te :(

I'd have the seat every time on looks.

Until I've seen both in the flesh to be sure, I'd agree with you 100% and save a few quid into the bargain.

SEAT have a Bocenegra on their stand at the Geneva Show at the moment.

I'm sure there will be some actual photos soon.

I think that could be an interesting little car.

Golf vs TT vs Beetle.

I was hoping it would be unique like the original.

Wasn’t the original mostly made of Golf bits?

Yep. I had a mk1 Scirocco GTI as my first car back in about 1987.

Hope the new one doesn't turn into a rust bucket like my old one :D

Hated the concept version, but that is gorgeous, shame there's no 170 brake diesel (on

launch any way). Like the leather seats, very retro style. Anyone guessing at prices.....

20k + I should think?

£22K +

Only 2.0TFSI at Launch

Ooh, I've just seen my next car!

I LOVE that tan leather....

I'm on the "to be told" list once VW know some definites.

I quite like it :D

That rear looks a lot like an Alfa 147, the side looks like it could be a Citroen concept, the roof line is definately beetle and the front is a bit .... hmm... strange TBH

And another look...

yup.. I love it! :D

nice me thinks:).......would still rather have a red MK1 with black vinyl roll back roof:).......like i used to have :(

k:)

Don't like the front. Back end looks Italian.

If Alfa could make a car that stays in one piece with dealers not owned by Arnold Clark I'd have a marque for life.

And the interior looks like it's been dragged out of a mk5 Golf and whitewashed.

The styling cues are always going to look like something else as it's probably impossible to be completely original with all the Euro this and Euro that legislation, and the MK1 Scirocco was accused of looking like an Austin Princess......

I like it too...

Looks like a new Scooby.

Id have it in ice white...
