Questions regarding MFD sat nav.

Featured Replies

After looking around for a Skoda MFD sat nav i'v noticed that the VW ones sell for £200 less:eek:

I'm not sure why that is but do the VW units fit direct? i'm assuming that the colour would light up differently but soldering some different LEDs would cure that.

Also just want to check that you can listen to a CD whilst using the sat nav, do the directions interupt the CD then swith over afterwards?

Cheers in advance for any help.

Darren

Its a lot of LED's, and you will still be left with the VW startup logo and blue theme on the main screen.

Could i not update the standard software or is it not that simple? LEDs dont bother me as i'm a sparks anyway. Do you know why the V dub ones are so much less to buy?
