Hi Kostas :)

The site might be a bit on the quiet side today as quite a few members are at a meet in Birmingham! :D

Welcome Kostas.

hi dgw, yes this is impressive, i have been looking at revotechnik myself, i hadnt heard of jabba before, but it seems that they are loved here. If i uderstand it properly, they offer a second ecu, which replaces the stock one, so my question is, if i went for them could i reinstall my stock ecu whenenver i have to visit my dealer for a service? my second question would be pirce and whether they offer any warranty> i know revo offer a years warranty.

I would be grateful if you could advice me on that

Thanks

Kostas

Jabba remove the standard chip from the ECU and replace it with their own programmable chip on a small motherboard. Alternatively, they can now programme the standard chip via the OBD socket. If you go the first route, which Jabba prefer, the price of remapping includes unsoldering their chip and replacing the original chip should you wish to return the car to standard. The relative merits of OBD versus replacement chip remapping are discussed elsewhere. If you sign up for one of Adrian's (SkodiRS) group remap deals then you get a 10% discount off Jabba's normal price. If you go it alone, you get a 5% discount as a Briskoda member. As for warranty, Jabba will sort out any problems with the remap as necessary.
