In the US, you can still get the new Impreza with a boot.!

It looks better in the metal, than in any picture I've seen of it.

But it's still UGLY.

Yeah I enetered the comp! Being a Tommi it should have white wheels tho (Enkies IIRC), so someones changed them. I much prefer the Red ones , with the stripes (which were @ extra cost , altho most Tommis that are red seem to have them) They seem to hold their money really well , compared to the 6 GSR.

Its a shame the Impreza lost its boot, though I guess it was time for a change. Same shape for what 15 years?

As I understand it, the boot was replaced by a hatch as this is more appealing to the average fleet buyer which is the market they're trying to break into. I did have a nose around the STi a couple of weekends back and the interior and build quality has certainly come along since I had my classic shape one. Just hope none of the driving fun has been dialled out at the same time....
