Funny how people shift out of my way especially on the motorway when I come up behind and sit at the right distance. Must be something todo with it being silver and 2 mirrors.......

Herts constabulary have marked Superb's, Octy estates, Fabia's and probable some RS's as well.

There are 43 police forces in England and Wales, and a further 8 in Scotland. Not quite a complete list yet!

Can confirm Herts police have Octy in Battenburg. It did however look as is it was one of the ARV cars rather than a standard cruise'n'cuff beast. Could not tell much more as it was behind me and was trying not to break the limit with it following! Thank goodness for cruise control.

...and here are Leicestershire Constabulary's 6-7 NEW Octavia vRS's, to add to the 3 or 4 they already have (Battenburg, black, and silver).

These pics where taken at a Leicester dealer back in mid-August 2004 (a month ago).

Wiltshire police deffo have at least one silver vRS and one marked vRS.

As far as modded cars go, I know of one lad who worked for a Ford garage in the north east and he was commenting on the oh so completely non standard cossie the local police used.

When I was testing a vRS in Bradford from DM Keith, sales rep said they supplied cops and the cars were standard unlike the mondeo v6 they also used which the cops modded to keep up :lol: could have been dealer speak

I saw a white jam sandwich octy vrs near Abingdon Park in Northampton. Think Corby have them too.
