my fave is my 2nd car an my 1st skoda "Pooky" . hes ill at the mo but hopefully my dad can fix him

I loved this, it was quick, light, handled, was soooooooooooooo comfy, and only let me down the once. Sadly that let down was terminal. Never mind.

They used to get great writes up in their day. I wouldn’t mind another 130TC as a Sunday afternoon car

I think I have 2 favourites the more I think about it. Obviously your first car is special

and the second one is probably the most charismatic car I have owned, if not the most reliable, comfortable, rust resistant, economic….etc.

A friend had a CX GTI which was a very nice car indeed.

Shame all the hydraulics failed on him.

Sadly not. It was made up of lots of bits of old taxis and had the 1725 engine but a 1500 back axel, which meant the overall gearing was lowered. It could pull away in top at idle and if it ever got up to 65mph the vibrations made the radio fall out!! Great gear change though. I had a friend who had the one with the 4 round headlights which might have been a Sceptre. I was very jealous.

That's NICE!!

My current car is definitely the best I've owned, although I do miss my first car at times.

This was taken before the rust removal (the second time!!) and grille mesh incident.
