I must admit I do miss the simplicity of my first car, A Fiat Cinq Sporting. I learned me craft in this car and had some mad fun in it as well.

This int my car.

My own. (see avatar) :) But then I have a limited car ownership history. Am in this one for the long haul though.

My Fabia, seen here posing halfway down Glen Etive in Scotland :):

It's somewhere in the Fens now I believe (the area, not literally in a marsh I hope).

One of these, owned them for the last 20 years, my present one for the last 12. Rear wheel drive, no computers, reliable and easy to work on.

Print this one off and you can build your own.

My Citroen ZX Volcane (see sig). Would buy it back tomorrow if I could, as a weekend car.(Must transfer the pic's onto this computer)

Would still want the Octy though as I love that too.(It's just a little bit quicker than the ZX, but doesn't handle quite as well):D:D

The Volcane was the first Diesel I seriously thought about buying (I didn’t as it turned out) It was in some ways the first hot Diesel.

Yes it was, but mine was the petrol 2.0i. Sooooooo much quicker, espesially after the mods.

I would say my current mk2.

The reason because it was a shell when i got it and now it's running a 20v turbo done by myself.

My first and one of my favourites. (Not actual pic) The first taste of freedom in a time long before speed cameras and the likes, not that I could speed much in it:rofl:

Datsun 100a Reg GGR 147N

Bought in 1986 for the expensive sum of £600 quid:eek:

I hate to say it but my Citroen ZX Vocane in red ( diesel) was so good, the first hot ( well warm in todays world) hatch so sad I got rid. I know it was not the pretiest cars around but it was so comfy.

The Fabia Vrs was huge fun and was the longest period of time that I have owned a car.

My MX5 is fun and I do like it but I have a feeling that I want a Octavia Vrs a car that I should have got after the Vrs, I better start saving:)

any one noticed a pattern? most of our favourite cars are the older ones raver then the new ones or is this just me?

New cars lack soul and character. Too safe, too heavy - not enough fun. A biscuit tin on wheels with moderate power is so much more fun than a lead box on wheels with tons of power.

*heads off to ebay for a Mk1 Golf gti*

This - My old Capri 280 Brooklands , I'd have another tomorrow , if I could find (and afford) a minter!

Id love an air cooled 911 some day though!

Honda Accord Aerodeck ..... ugly as sin, cost a fortune to run due to its age and condition, but god I loved that car. 1st car I ever had which didnt have a 1 litre engine and put a smile on your face everytime you drove.
