Lorenzo has "clicked" with the Yamaha package, just like Stoner did with the Ducati last year.

Just look at his stats so far this year:-

3 poles in 3 races.

3 podiums in 3 races.

A win in the 3rd race.

I must be missing the point here? So what if Rossi is the best placed Bridgestone rider? Last year he was frequently the best placed Michelin rider, but still finishing behind the front runner.

Consistently being the best of the rest is to some degree, irrelevant and is very unlikely to win the championship if the same riders keep finishing at the front.

Last year Pedrosa finished 2nd in the championship and on Michelins I believe, and this year Stoner has won a race and Rossi hasn't........and, we're only 3 races into the season.........Ken, blind adoration really doesn't lead to sensible responses.

Oh and one other thing, Rossi hasn't had the championship to lose for a couple of years.

Unfortunately, among some of the Rossi faithful there will never be a deserving champion while Rossi is still racing......in their eyes it was only won due to Rossi being disadvantaged in some way.........each to their own I suppose.

That's why I made sure I used the word 'some' and not all.........I am aware that like yourself some of the Rossi faithful are able to form a non biased view based on the facts and not just opinions.

The above is not a dig at anyone in particular.
