Anyone know of a better exhuast manifold for the 1.8t that still takes the std KKK turbocharger?

the std one is crap and could release more power if it flowed better?

Don't know of any off the shelf ones but ask Hayward & Scotts in Basildon, they will make one for you to any spec.

I think the Jabba manifold is specifically for the IHI.

To change manifold without changing the turbo is pointless.

Since the turbo is maxed out anyway by a chip there is only a few horses to gain.

Probably the downpipe must be changed aswell.

But after changing these three pieces 300bhp is possible without much more money.

i talked to turbo dynamics today and they reckon octy manifold is a bit poo, too restrictive. they warned me that if you chip them to ~230bhp you are running the boost very high and with the appropriate heat generated the manifold and/or turbo casing can split/cack at only 50-60,000 miles.

they told me that if i sourced a different manifold then my car would performe noticably better and my other components would last longer.

Several people have said K03's have issues with high boost (TT's have more history) and I've possibly seen one of the above on 66k with increased boost.

Personally I'm saving for a new turbo and westfield.

price is good and the manifold looks the dogs dnaglies, shame they dont actually list the Octy though.
