Same old thing mate.

As i only bought mine a bit back as did Col G and now they are shipping the eee 9" i personally am not bothered as the 7" does what i need it to and is still cheaper so ive not really lost out.

While others are coming out i think the eee has done do well as you can hack it to death with extra's such as a touch screen and extra usb ports for next to no money

Will these run one of the mobile modems from T Mobile etc. the £15 a month jobbies for true mobile internet not wifi please?

I use mine daily with it running XP and my £10 per month T-Mobile USB modem...... it's for winners.

If you are a soap dodging bearded sandal / sock wearing linux type, have a look here to get it running (edit, I forgot the :);))

As a slight aside to your previous question mr Fluff...

My eee is currently running the "standard" linux OS, Ubuntu 8.04 AND windows XP.

So if you partition your drives up you will be able to install Ubuntu to play on when your in a soap-dodging mood :D
