Well tonight i came up against one of these

My God it was fast. Now i dont claim my fabia is the fastest thing on the planet but it doesnt hang around if you know what i mean

Comparing it to other stuff ive played with this thing is in a class of its own, ive had a pop at most of the hot hatchs on the market and so far non of them have pulled away, including focus st new one, astra vxr etc etc.

It was on an 08 plate so surely cant have been modded yet :confused:

So my question is what the hell is it? And where do i sign to get one

Thought the highest powered Cupra was 240bhp ? Even the K1 isn't more than 240bhp std.

240bhp... they're quite quick!

The one in the picture is a standard factory one, you can get them with black, white or silver alloys now. The SE K1 has the same engine but has the aero kit and some other bits and pieces. 240BHP standard as already mentioned.

Std Cupra is 240bhp, then of course it could be mapped.

The S3 is of course 265 out of the bag, but wasn't aware of Seat offering any manufacturer based models on the 2.0T in that state of tune.

Does look nice in that colour combo

My mistake then i though that Cupra's were 260

will have been chipped... it only takes 5 mins... and 08 has been out 2 months...

300 horses plus from just a remap on those. KO4 Turbo whereas the 200hp versions have the KO3.

It has a couple of other upgrades to the Octy II 2.0 as well.

Nice weapon, not a mad fan of the interior though. Much prefer the Octy/Golf.

Not sure the Cupra has the larger injectors that the S3 has.

Its only supprised me because i have gone up against a mates New S3 (lovely blue colour) and he didnt pull on me very much.

But this thing really pulled. I recon from a rolling 30 to about 70 he pulled about 5 cars on me :eek:

Spooky, I spec'd one of these up t'other day (in exact same colour/wheels) on SEAT's website. With all the toys it was aroung the £23k mark :eek:

I test drove one of these (not remapped). The missus was looking to buy a Leon FR and there was a cupra outside the showroom. I sat there drooling over it and the sales guy said "wanna have a go? we're quiet today so if u fancy it"

OT slightly but I also took out a Panda 100hp the other day. Trying to persuade my mum it would be a good car for her. What a fantastic little car. Not particularly fast but so much fun!! (Hmmm turbo conversion:rolleyes:)

For 24k with all the toys it seems a bargain?

Was looking at volvo v50, octy, mondeo.

They are in between an Octy and Fabia in size and are 5 door. The handles for the rear are in the glass so it looks like they are doorless
