Now I thought the roomster was pretty practical, however couldn't believe it when i saw a black taxi roomster in glasgow this morning.

Guess its a pretty economical taxi, albeit a bit funky looking

Anyone else seen one, or seen one put to an interesting use?

Don't see why not. In Newcastle all the balck taxis are Fiat Doblos. In essence they are the same spec, though the Doblo is a bit bigger.

I have seen one, a grey 1.9TDI in Cambridge.

You could point out they are at times CRAP taxis. I had a recent hideous journey late at night in an Octavia. No turbo, no heater. Mopeds passed while I endured an arctic blizzard from the vents. OK, that was a one off.

I made a comment at the showroom about the yellow coluor must have been for the fabia rs or something and he said no-can-doo and I would not anyway! So I did try!:(
