Just wondered is anyone has used simply electronics and their experience.

They are around £100 cheaper on one item I'm interested in than anyone else including amazon, play etc.

Not heard of them either but I note that they are in Hong Kong, so bear that in mind as you may get import duty etc to pay."

Simply Electronics Ltd is a leading international retailer serving customers in the UK, Europe, US, and Australia from our headquarters in Hong Kong"

Also, if they are in Hong Kong, beware copycat items, they're just as bad as China for it.

I ordered a lens once, which they said was in stock

They delayed and delayed, making excuses, and I ended up cancelling

If you are after a camera lens for a DSLR then I would recommend Onestop Digital.

I've used them several times and always had good customer service, got stung once for VAT & Duty, but that gets (& got) refunded if you send them the bill.

I've not used them myself but take a look at:
http://www.trustpilo...electronics.net

It seems that they can be OK sometimes, if they happen to have the item you want in stock - but if you need to use their after sales "service" for any reason whatsoever then be prepared for some serious pain! Personally I wouldn't use them and would stick to a more reputable dealer even if it meant paying a few quid more. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for"...

My Dad ordered a lens from them and had all sorts of trouble getting in touch. In the end he got Google to repay him as he had used their Wallet service luckily :(

Me and a chap from work have ordered camera lens from them.  Not the quickest delivery but the price was good.

I have read bad experiences off web. But our experiences were ok.

dunno what make you're after but if you need canon lenses then i recommend sending a Message to Ian Ker - Kerso on ebay (flash camera is his store) http://stores.ebay.c...d=p4634.c0.m322

He's in scotland, the lenses are imports but as he ships them from scotland there's no risk of getting landed with any import duty and all lenses are covered with international warranty (camera bodies are not) so no worries with warranty issues either. You can even cash in on any rebates that are running. I bought a 70-200 f2.8l IS and a 24-70 f2.8L frtom him a few years back and claimed cash back on both.  Send him a message and see if he's got or can get what your after.

If you are after a new mobile phone I would recomend www.foniacs.co.uk prices are about 40% cheaper than high street (not all models) SIM free and delivery is 48 hours most of the models are with free delivery. You can use paypal to pay so you have protection. I got my Nokia E7 from them for £245.00 when everyone else was selling them for £399 and up
