Kit was £20ish. . .

Yeah proper flocking is done with an electro static gun. . But i looked into it and its usual expensive unless you know someone in the trade. .

With the kit you get glue, flock material and a "puffer" bottle. .

Just apply the glue, puff the flock on,leave it 24hours . . And brush the excess off.

I dint do bad for a first attempt. . Still got the other vents to do and maby some other stuff so i might be an expert at diy flocking by the end of things Haha.

That's really cool. Good job man

I've got a lot of time for tasteful/subtle modification

The thought of flocking little bits and pieces had crossed my mind so I'm glad someone has done it

I am in love and may be having to steal this pal haha

Looks brilliant.

Nice alternative to painting & wrapping.

Just seen this on Instagram.

Looks good

Me likes. Can you get different colour flock though? I've got a green thing going on at the mo :D

Yes mate you can get different colour materials in the kit :-). .

Thanks for the positive comments people :-D

Stupid question what is flocking? Is if a kind of suede type fabric?

 for something different, for the look just dont like it, looks like suede

I've seen full dashes done like this, looked great. Was a civic type r . Really suited it

Might be a stupid question but, is it soft to the touch, or same as painted/wrapped/normal ?

I get the feeling these are something you'd have to see in the flesh to truly appreciate.

Its microscopic fibres that are "puffed" or sprayed if you like onto glue applied to the surface. .feels alot like velvet. :-)

Its not a new thing, its an old motorsport thing, they have flocked dashes in touring/rally cars,it doesn't produce any glare if the sun shines on it ect.
