Excellent - any idea what this bit is from http://www.stemei.de/pages/coding/seat-leon-5f/verkehrszeichenanzeige-aktivieren.php

  1. Show channel Valid additional characters select
  2. Value corresponding to customize default: 00100111

That bit was already coded on mine can't remember the exact adaptation but it's below the "Display end of speed limit symbol" adaptation the default value on mine was 00100111 I'm not sure if changing this modifies what signs can be displayed, however as it's in binary I wouldn't know what to change it to without experimenting. Mine shows all speed limit signs and no overtaking, I haven't driven passed other signs I would expect it to show.

The manual also states an option in the infotainment to enable traffic signs applicable to towing and this is below the option to enable/disable traffic sign recognition, I have not got this option below the enable/disable traffic sign recognition so there must be another adaptation to enable.

Thought this was a 'pay extra' add on? Not bad if you can activate it by playing about with the computer.

Is this just the vRS, or does the Elegance have the ability to activate it?

You need Lane Assist, Colour Maxidot & Columbus.

Don't think anyone has tried an Amundsen with it.

What are the risks of trying to enable it? I've got lane assist, colour maxidot and admundsen and wouldn't mind someone trying as long as the car could be returned to "as is" if required.

Problem is I'm near Edinburgh.

Some good news - I have just coded this on a vRS with Lane Assist, Bolero and standard Maxidot - AND IT WORKS!!!!

Photo to follow soon ........

Thanks again Andy you are a legend!

Here's Traffic Sign Recognition working on my vRS with Bolero and standard B&W Maxidot:

There's also another page on the Maxidot if you want it 'full-screen':
