I found out from here it wont have a cd player, the sales guy said it would! I ordered end of June, expecting delivery any time now as it has been shipped. I think the worst thing about the cd player is the awful lump of plastic in its place!

I've read mixed info re this so whats the experience on here? Will it play apple m4A files? Is it a major PITA to get album artwork to work? I'll be fed up if it is with the new cars not having cd players...

I'll take it to a detailer then. How long do the coatings last. The life shine is marketed as a lifetime protectant. Is this not the case? Is it just a heavy duty wax?

Is it worth the £250 price? The dealer has said they will do it foc but no literature or warranty will be given. Do I trust them? Is there a way to tell if it has been done? I paid for it on my mk2 but the interior didnt seem any mor water repllant than standard...

That's a bloody good price for an SE L, is it hp or pcp? You have more extras at a lower price. (I rang round loads of dealers and haggled like mad)

I ordered mine through them. They haven't a clue when it comes to specs. Ring skodauk to check. I had to. My winter pack was £600 (inc front seats)

Maybe I haven't been clear enough. I know that if I order a new spare, it will be a space saver. I already have a full size 16" from my mk2 My question was will this fit? Will it fit in the boot correctly? What problems os it likely to cause?

I have gone for 17", im aware that the configurator spare is a space saver. Surely a full size wheel is safer? Thats why I wanted to use my full size if possible.

How different is the underboot storage, will the mk2 polystyrene fit in the mk3 (i dont mind minor modification)

With my mk2 estate I have a full size 16" spare wheel. The dealer has advised me to keep it as it will fit the mk3. Is this the case? My new one is a SE L estate.

Just rang skodauk to track my order. Ordered june 28th expected at retailer early October. I make that 14 weeks! I only had to wait 7 for my mk2. Does adding quite a few extras tend to delay it?

My mk2 elegance came with contis, these were ridiculously loud on motorways. Chamged to michelin energy and its so much quieter but vague when going into bends... I had a couple of decent test drives in the mk3 and found there to be less wind noise, probably making road noise more noticable. (Both estates)

The door trims, especially in the back are awfull, but there is noway id go for fake wood either. Has anybody installed an alternative?
