  1. I didn't think there were any MW channels left broadcasting!!
  2. Sound like an easy thing to find!! A full set of wiper blades for a Fabia Greenline II Estate (the facelift model) but strangely, unless I want to pay the earth from Skoda direct (at my dealership) it's proving a very hard thing to do!!! The problem is the Rear blade! I've been into various Halfrauds and other Motaquip places, and if I had a Hatch I'd have no problem... But I've got an Estate, which seems to have a slightly different blade! Even the choice of two types of Blade in the Halfords range cause problems as the connector to the arm doesn't seem to be right!! (I think someone at Halfords technical had a brain fart when they said "Yep That will fit that model!!"), One was too big, one was waaay too small (I sound like a bear eating Porridge!) We (a member of staff and myself) even raded various other Rear blade boxes just to see if we could find one that fitted!!! Nope! Nothing! I've looked on line! and again there are loads of different connectors (even in the Bosch range) and I don't know which I need, as the pictures are too small (and very generic!) So my question, or plea!! is Where can I get a full set, or maybe just the rear Wiper Blade for a 'Facelift' 13 Plate Fabia Greenline II??? Please I need them (or it) before my MOT at the end of July!!
  3. Mine goes to 'Recirculate' automgicly if I have the temperature knob turned all the way into Cold...
  4. I took about 2 minutes, 1 minute 30 of that was sucking my thumb after I bent the nail back removing the Alarm block!! Owie owie owie!!!
  5. I'm interested in this too, my Wife's Trusty Fabby 1 (Mk II) lost a shelf knob about 3 years ago (overloaded the boot with shopping and the shelf snapped it off) it sits there okay, but it's not stable!! I tried Araldite, SupaGlue and other fast/strong adhesives, none worked. We've now lost the old knob too!!
  6. It's just all the Road Grime/Crap from the road's over the winter period getting into the hinges! My Greenie Estate does it too! Just add WD40 (other spray lubricators are available ) or Grease/Vaseline to the hinges works a charm!!
  7. If it's a Fabby VRS with the Black 'shuttered' headlights it's a dummy Side Light! It's not a bulb, it doesn't do anything, other than fill a hole!
  8. I know! it's got to be up there with the rubber radio aerials and hub caps!! Strange ting to nick!!!
  9. Some Cheeky little scrote has nicked the Wiper Arm Cap from my car for some reason!! I mean!! Why??? it's only £4.13 if you need one!! Why nick mine you git!!! Now my car looks cheap and unloved from behind!! I know it didn't just 'Fall off' like my wife said to me, I demonstrated with her Fabby and told her to try and 'knock it off' which she couldn't! so Someone has decided to either nick mine to replace theirs, because they broke their one!), or Vandalise my car in the weirdest of ways (not by keying of the paintwork or puncturing of the tires). I'm at a loss!!! What's the most random thing you've found 'Nicked' from your car???
  10. That's the type of thing!!! I'll have a lookie! :notme:  Can't really afford the cost of a replacement wheel or even (as someone on a different forum suggested) getting it professionally trimmed!!
  11. Hi Guys I'm after a bit of advice, and maybe some recommendations. My Well Loved and cherished Fabia Greenline has a slight bit of damage to the steering wheel! Not sure how or when it happened, but Every time I turn the wheel, I can feel some rough gouges (at the 5 o'clock position on the wheel) and they are starting to annoy me! I've been looking at Wheel covers, but I don't like the 'ready fit' ones, it might as well be pink and fluffy in my eyes, they just look so chavvy and 'chunky' I've been looking at the 'Lace up' types (not the wrap around the wheel ones from the 70/80's) and was wondering if anyone here had any experience of them, how hard they are to 'lace' and do they look/feel any good!! Any help would be appreciated!
  12. Little bit of Blood/Skin on the job makes it a worth while job!! Not worth £8 PER BULB Halfords charge!!! Really noticing, recently, how crap the OEM bulbs in my Greenie projectors are!! Might have to bite the bullet and get some Nightbreakers!!!
  13. Yeah! it's the 'Total Open' option on the Key/Fob press and hold the open (or close) button and all the 'leccy windows open (or close) and the doors unlock (or lock). Thankfully the doors re-lock after a couple of minutes (an deadlock) but the windows do stay open!! You'd probly sat on your keys before bed and not noticed!!! On a side note... There are various ways of extending the range of your fob! especially useful on a very hot day, from across a car park, if you want to expel the hot air from your car before you get there, Stick the key/fob under your chin and press (and hold) the open button... it extends the distance quite a bit, enough for the doors to re-lock themselves before you get there!! :D
  14. Would this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Charger-Rocker-iPhone7-Samsung-Players/dp/B01EMZ55GW/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1477909261&sr=8-8&keywords=car+usb+port fit??
  15. That was about 2 years ago! Just put 'Festoon LED' and 'w5w LED' into Ebay or Amazon... there's thousands to choose from!
  16. Teeny Mod to my car: (took 2 weeks from China via Amazon) Yeah! 42mm Festoon/C10W in the middle, and 2x W5W/T10 in the corners!
  17. Not looked at the video yet (don't have sound here at work)... But the only 'Bong' sounds my 2013 Greenline makes are - 4 degrees outside temperature, 80mph (that's what I set t to) reminder, Lights on reminder, Seatbelt not plugged in (over 10mph) which gets faster and louder till you stop! and the Service Reminder I've not heard any others! but all of the above have some form of Display/Maxi-Dot notification also!
  18. Managed to fit the Rear Camera upside down!!! What are the best replacement 3M pads to get! Amazon has loads and I want to get the correct ones for Front (Just in case) and rear as I've had to butcher the spare to re-fit the rear camera!!
  19. 750 fitted front and rear in my Fabby Greenline Estate... had to loose about 4 foot of cable for the rear camera in the headlining managed to get it set up using a crappy old 10" hanspree tablet (everything else I own is Windows!) really happy with the install, okay the front camera is a little off centre, my wife didn't realise what bit of the camera I wanted central... but hey you'd never know! might get some photos and video up soon.
  20. I'm getting a bit tired of either burning .mp3's to CD or sorting tracks to pop onto a USB flash drive for the MDI in my Fabby Greenline II I just want to randomly pick some music from my 250Gb (and growing) library to match my mood, or even Spotify etc... I know there's two options open to me... Either get the Micro USB cable for my Lumia 830 to the MDI and see if that works... but these seem to be like rocking horse poo, and I can't find a decent one!! Or upgrade my factory 'Swing' Radio with 'Phone Preparation' Bluetooth... The thing is, I don't know if this is actually possible (it's mentioned in the manual)!! I'm currently using a sun-visor Bluetooth for calls, so integrating it into the stereo (with voice activation via Cortana) would be a bonus and the Music Streaming from my phone would unlock my entire music collection!! I don't want to upgrade the Radio to the Amunsden or Bolero as, after recently buying a Dashcam, I don't have that sort of money left!! So really I have a couple of questions... Where might I get the micro-USB MDI cable, How much would it cost, Would it work (Music Streaming only)? How can I add 'Phone Preparation' to my Swing radio, Is it possible, will it interface with my Steering controls, How much would it cost?? Cheers Dudes!!
  21. My Windows stay live after turning the ignition off, till someone opens a door... and as above the Maxi-Dot goes blank after about 5 minutes from the time I lock the door! It'd be daft for the windows to stay live permanently, as all it would take to break in was a coat hanger down the rubbers and push the button!!
  22. Only problem I have is... My Smartphone is Windows 10 Mobile (Lumia 830) and there's no App for Windows (and they don't look like they're gonna make one!)... Luckily I have an old Hanspree 10" tablet, which I've stripped down and ONLY has the Thinkware App on it (for now... cos it's soooooo slow!!)
  23. Finally got myself a Dashcam fo my Baby... Got a nice £33 discount from the RAC, cos my wife is a member, which I promptly spent on Amazon on a Few bits for her birthday and the Extra stuff needed to fit the Dashcam(s)... I'm still waiting for the Piggy-Back Fuse holder and a set of Blade Fuses, but I've got a new set of Crimps and some Panel Removal tools... Which have a rather hilarious translation of the instructions from Chinese to English on the back... Once I have everything I'll make a 'Fitting Log' and Test Video's on here for all to see...
  24. Never thought of using them for Takeaway's... Did it last night (after reading this) for my Chicken Kebab, The Wife's Veggie Burger and chips... I usually pop them in the passenger foot well and have to grab it quickly as I corner!... Last night I knew it was safe, Secure and not gonna spill Garlic Mayo all over the boot as I went round a corner!!
  25. I just ordered the Thinkware F750 Dual from the RAC (got a £33 discount being a member) Can you post a picture of Both front and rear cameras in position as I'm (mainly) wondering how and where I'm gonna position the Rear camera in my Fabby Greenline Estate!!! Cheers Sim.
